Who wasn't self-conscious in middle school? This is one of a pair that sits outside the auditorium of Presidio Middle School in the Richmond District. There are countless lion statues dotting the neighborhood, but if you look closely there are subtle difference -- often in the baring of the teeth. This one seems positively socially awkward, or am I projecting again?
