The James R. Browning federal courthouse on 7th & Mission is a national historical landmark. Donald Trump has called its legal decisions a national disgrace. This classic building began life in 1905 as San Francisco's federal courthouse and main post office. And they spared no expense in materials or craftsmanship. A really beautiful old building. And of course a working federal appeals court today. Twice a month they offer FREE one-hour guided tours, I took one today. Here's the schedule of upcoming tours: https://www.ca9.uscourts.gov/content/view.php?pk_id=0000000141 I took a lot of photos, eventually you'll find them on my blog. But really, try to take the tour.
