I Gained 9,152 Yards On Super Bowl Sunday.

The Super Bowl -- it ain't baseball. More to the point, it's not SF Giants baseball. So I jumped on the 38R bus downtown for a late afternoon walk in the Financial District, the Ferry Building, and along the waterfront to the Giants ballpark. Total walking distance: 5.2 miles, or 9,152 yards.

Below are some of the images I saw along the way. I might've worked the iPhone's wide-angle capability to exhaustion.

Sometimes I wonder if the SF Port will be fully sorted out in my lifetime.

Come back in April. Better yet, send a cardboard photo cutout of yourself.

"Open! Open! Open!"

Wow. This was in the window of a store on Market Street that promised "Seasonal Arrangement Installations." That's an incredible floral arrangement.
