This beach house is on La Playa, the last street before Great Highway and Ocean Beach. This is as far out as you can get. The coldest and foggiest part of San Francisco. Historically, it attracted free spirits, including the almost mythical "Carville," a community of artists who stayed in old streetcars the city had sold off. This may be another endangered species in SF, as every home becomes worth north of a million dollars. Click through for more photos of this San Francisco original.
