I stopped by this eye-catching exhibit at the SF County Sheriff's table during San Francisco History Days at the Old Mint at 5th & Mission. The Sheriff's Department staffs the City's jails, and they confiscated these homemade knives from prisoners. I would make sure everybody interviewing for the job of SF deputy sheriff saw this display.
